MGH-10 Hatch cover bronze bearing pad is aluminum bronze base material with PTFE plugged and MoS2 or PTFE running film on the surface.
This type of bronze bearing pads allow the weight of a cover, and any cargo stowed on it, to be transferred securely to the ship’s structure, by accommodating relative movement between the hatch cover and coaming caused by the flexing of the ship’s hull. The Lubripad bearing pads have enduring sliding properties and their operation is maintenance-free.
