At higher production rates, many automated machines achieve peak efficiency when bottles are conveyed seamlessly and aligned side-by-side without gaps. For instance, a piston filler with multiple heads may overlook bottles that aren't precisely positioned for filling. This precision is equally essential for any machinery designed to handle multiple bottles simultaneously.

In the absence of a loading rotary turntable, an operator would constantly need to load a sufficient backlog onto the conveyor belt to ensure a steady flow of bottles through various machines such as fillers, cappers, or labelers. Moreover, manually spacing bottles would further impede production. However, with a loading rotary turntable, a single person can efficiently load a significant number of containers onto the turntable, allowing the machine to evenly transfer them onto the conveyor belt. This setup enables the operator to attend to other tasks between reloading the turntable.
