ED Glass Lenses
Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass actually eliminates chromatic aberration (chromatic aberration), which is a common visual defect in binoculars. ED binoculars have excellent color correction and clear and sharp images, providing edge-to-edge clarity.
Not all ED glass binoculars are created equal. High-quality ED glass provides significantly brighter and clearer images than non-ED telescopes. In low light conditions, such as dawn or dusk, this difference is especially obvious.
BaK-4 Prism FMC
ED binoculars have fully multi-layer coated optical elements, BaK-4 phase coating and dielectric prisms.
