Flanging refers to the forming method of forming a straight wall or flange with a certain angle along the closed or unclosed curve edge on the plane part or curved surface part of the blank by using the function of the mold. Flanging is a kind of stamping process. There are many kinds of flanging and different classification methods. According to the deformation properties, it can be divided into elongation type flanging and compression type flanging.
It is made of duplex stainless steel 2507. Its density is 8.03g/cm3, its melting point is 1300-1390 ℃, and it is non-magnetic. The heat treatment is to keep the temperature between 1000-1052 ℃ for 1 to 2 hours, and to conduct rapid air cooling or water cooling. 32750 has high content of chromium and molybdenum, so it has strong corrosion resistance, especially the inorganic acid containing chloride also has strong corrosion resistance. It is widely used in oil and gas industry equipment, chemical processing industry, pipeline industry and mechanical parts.
