industrial weld neck flanges and forged flanges. Our weld neck flanges are drilled with the wall thickness
of flange having the same dimensions of pipe. Flanges for heavier pipes have smaller bore, while flanges
of lighter pipes have larger bore. These weld neck flanges, industrial weld neck flanges, forged flanges are
normally used for high-pressure, cold or hot temperature.
The formal name of blind disk is Flange cover, and some are also called blind flanges or pipe plugs. It is a
flange without a hole in the middle, which is used to plug the pipe opening. The function is the same as that
of the head and cap, except that the blind seal is a removable sealing device, and the seal of the head is
not ready to be opened. There are many types of sealing surfaces, including planar, convex, concave and
convex surfaces, tongue and groove surfaces and ring connection surfaces. Materials include carbon steel,
stainless steel, alloy steel, copper, aluminum, PVC and PPR.
The blind plate is mainly used to completely isolate the production medium to prevent the shut-off valve from
being closed tightly, affecting production, and even causing accidents. The blind plate should be set in the part
where isolation is required, such as the equipment nozzle, before and after the shut-off valve or between two
flanges, and it is often recommended to use a figure 8 blind; Insert plates (round blinds) can also be used for
single-use parts such as pressing and purging.
