The advantages of UNS N04400 (Monel 400 alloy) mainly include:

Excellent corrosion resistance: Monel 400 alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of environments, especially seawater, non-oxidizing acids, alkalis, brine solutions and molten salts.
