Our 12 Strands HMPE ship mooring ropes are high-performance synthetic ropes widely used for mooring various types of vessels, including naval ships, cargo ships, ferries, tugboats, fishing boats, yachts, and more. HMPE stands for High Modulus Polyethylene, which is an ultra-high-strength, lightweight synthetic fiber material known for its excellent abrasion resistance and extremely low elongation. With the same diameter, HMPE ship mooring ropes exhibit greater strength compared to steel cables while weighing more than 1/7 of steel cables. These ropes are equipped with a special coating, which can effectively protect against ultraviolet radiation, and maintain high strength and durability after a long time of use, without rapid aging, brittleness or loss of original performance due to ultraviolet radiation. This coating can also resist the erosion of various chemicals, extending the service life of the cable.
