Our high-performance Waterproof Insulated 12-Strand Polyethylene Rope is specifically designed for demanding applications in live-line work and marine equipment maintenance. Due to its waterproof insulated characteristics, this rope provides exceptional electrical safety in wet environments, ensuring worker safety during live-line operations.Despite its low density, the rope possesses high strength and modulus. With the same diameter, the strength and elongation of polyethylene rope are comparable to those of steel cables, but it weighs only one-tenth of the steel cables. The polyethylene rope exhibits low creep, maintaining its shape under prolonged tensile stress, and its low elasticity reduces the risk of rebound accidents, ensuring strong safety performance.The lifespan of polyethylene rope is generally 2 to 3 times longer than that of ordinary synthetic fiber ropes. This is because polyethylene rope is highly abrasion-resistant, seawater corrosion-resistant, and UV-resistant, and it even has good chemical resistance to acids and alkalis. These properties make it exceptionally suitable for use in maintaining marine equipment.
