Description:

This 8-strand polyethylene cable has high strength and modulus. In the case of equal diameter, its strength and elongation are similar to the corresponding steel cable, but the weight is only one-tenth of the steel cable. Polyethylene cable does not absorb water, the strength will not change because of water, compared with steel cable after water performance is more stable, and can float on the surface of the water, can adapt to more mooring scenarios. The service life of polyethylene cables is generally 2 to 3 times higher than that of ordinary chemical fiber cables, which is because polyethylene cables are very wear-resistant, resistant to seawater corrosion, resistant to ultraviolet radiation, and even have good chemical resistance to acid and alkali, ensuring that they will not expand or hydrolyze in fresh water, seawater and moisture. This polyethylene fiber cable is made of eight strands. The special weaving process makes the rope smooth and flexible.
