Membrane bioreactor (MBR) is the combination of a membrane process like microfiltration or ultrafiltration with a suspended growth bioreactor, and is now widely used for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
Membrane bioreactors can be used to reduce the footprint of an activated sludge sewage treatment system by removing some of the liquid component of the mixed liquor. This leaves a concentrated waste product that is then treated using the activated sludge process.

Characteristics
1. High flux
The modified PVDF membrane ensures the membrane material to be in closer contact with water, and water can penetrate the membrane fiber at the low pressure difference, thereby guaranteeing the high flux of the filter membrane.
2. Excellent corrosion resistance
The modified PVDF hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane has high oxidation resistance, can be widely applied to various poor water quality conditions and the operating conditions in which the high concentration oxidant acts, is resistant to corrosion of a variety of bacterium, and will not lose its function as the membrane material is oxidated, decomposed and aged.
3. High strength
The unique cortical layer composed of the high tensile liner and the orderly arranged and dense PVDF molecules ensures that the fiber of the filter membrane will not be broken in use and guarantees the effluent quality.

Acid and alkali resistance and oxidation resistance of PVDF ensures that the maintenance cleaning and restorative cleaning effects of the filter membrane are better.
