Special Features:
1. Description
8040/4040 RO membrane element is used for the desalination of brackish water and other similar water and it has high desalination rate and long time stable performance under high flow and low operating pressure.
2. Applications:
It is used to produce pure water or ultra pure water in electronics, power, petrochemical, food, beverage and pharmacy.
Notice: Permeate flow for individual elements may vary ±15 percent.
The stated performance is initial (data taken after 30 minutes of operation), based on the following conditions:
1. 450PPM NaCl solution,tap water
2. Applied Pressure: psi(Mpa) refer to the form
3. 77°F (25°C) Operating Temperature
4. 30% Permeate Recovery
5. 7.0~8.0 pH Range
Standard Operating Limits:
Maximum Operating Temperature: 113ºF (45ºC)
Maximum Applied Pressure: 300psi(21bar)

Maximum Chlorine Concentration: < 0.1 PPM

Under certain conditions, the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure. Since oxidation damage is not covered under warranty, GALLON recommends removing residual free chlorine by pretreatment prior to membrane exposure. Please refer to GALLON technical bulletin for more information.
