Product Description
* DS3231 16-pin memory chips - AT24C32 ,extremely accurate I2C real-time clock (RTC), with an integrated temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) and crystal.
* Integrated oscillator improve long-term accuracy of the device and reduces the number of components of the production line.
* Provides two configurable alarm clock and a calendar can be set to a square wave output. Address and data are transferred serially through an I2C bidirectional bus.
* Highly accurate RTC completely manages all timekeeping functions.The device incorporates a battery input, disconnect the main power supply and maintains accurate timekeeping.
* A precision temperature-compensated voltage reference and comparator circuit monitors the status of VCC to detect power failures, provide a reset output. In addition, RST pin is monitored as generating a μP reset.
 
DS3231 module parameters:
1. Size: 38mm (length) * 22mm (width) * 14mm (height)

4. Clock chip: high precision clock chip DS3231
5. Clock accuracy: within the range of 0-40℃, the accuracy is 2ppm, and the annual error is about 1 minute.
6. With 2 calendar alarm clocks
7. Programmable square wave output
8. The real-time clock generates seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, Dates, months, and year timeouts, and provides leap year
compensation valid until 2100 years.
9. The chip has its own temperature sensor with an accuracy of ± 3℃
10. Memory chip: AT24C32 (32K storage capacity)
11.IIC bus interface, transmission speed 400kHz (when operating voltage is 5V)
12. Other IIC devices can be cascaded. The 24C32 address can be modified through short circuit A0/A1/A2. The default address is
0x57.
13. With battery CR2032, ensure that the clock moves normally after the system is powered off.
