What is dimple jacket tank?
   A dimple jacket is manufactured by welding a thin, stainless steel sheet of metal to the surface of a tank. The process of spot welding attaches the two sheets to one another, creating the distinctive dimples of the dimple jacket.Dimple jackets are also a versatile heat transfer surface primarily used for temperature and pressure extremes on the outside of tank heads and shells.
  One of the primary advantages of dimple jacketed vessels is their ability to significantly enhance heat transfer efficiency. The unique design of the dimples increases the surface area available for heat exchange, allowing for more efficient and rapid heat transfer between the jacket and the process fluid.
