Gold Trommel Wash Plants for Sale
Gold trommel washing plant, also call placer gold or alluvial gold trommel processing plant, is used to wash and select the gold particles or nuggets in the river sediments or mountain. Its main function is to remove the big sand, gravel or clay and mud and recover the gold concentrates. There are two type of screen in the process of washing, rotary trommel screen and vibrating screen. Following the screen machine is the gold concentrator, vibrating sluice box and fixed sluice box.
Gold wash plant such as the sluice box and gold pan make use of gravity and the medium of water to wash the gangue minerals away, while the gold amalgamator and mercury retort make use of a chemical process involving mercury to obtain the final gold.
The working process of the gold washing plant is in this way: use exacvator or pay loader to load the sand into the hopper of the screen. Above the hopper there are steel grate bars, the gap between the bars depend on the size of the stone. Over size stone will be screened out and the smaller particles will be fall into the screen. If there are not clay or mud, then vibrating screen is adopted. The stone bigger than 10mm will be screened out and less than 10mm will be collected and go to the gold concentrator and vibrating sluice through the chute on the screen. Follwing the concentrator or vibrating screen is the fixed sluice box,which will further collect the remaining gold in the tailing from the concentrator and vibrating screen.

Description of the placer gold washing plant.
After finishing installtion of the whole plant. Usually use excavator or payloader to feed the river sand into the hopper, then the sand go to the trommel screen. When the rotary trommel screen is rotating, big size more than 8mm sand will be screened out, small sizes less than 8mm will go to the gold centrifugal concentrator or vibrating gold sluice ( usually we recommend concentrator, as it can achieve high recovery rate for different gold particle sizes from 40 mesh to 200 mesh). Following the concentrator is gold sluice with gold blanket, which is used to recover the remaining gold in the concentrator.
Gold centrifugal concentrator is to use the gravity centrifugal force to collect the gold concentrate in the river sand or soil, it is suitable to collect the gold mesh size from 200 mesh to 40 mesh, the recovery rate for free gold particles can reach high to 90%, it is a perfect partner working with the gold trommel screen plant.

Shaking table
After collect the gold concentrate fromo the centrifugal concentrator and gold sluice blanket, the most common way is then put it on the shaking table to further improve the gold grade.
Mercury Amalgamation barrel or small ball mill.
The gold ore concentrate collected from the shaking table will be put in the small ball mill, or we call itmercury amalgamation barrel. Then it can mix with the mercury and form the gold and mercury mixture.
Electric gold melting furnace
After get the mixture of gold and mercury, you can put it in the elctric gold melting furnace and heat it, then you can get the pure gold bar.
