Mineral Insulated Heating Cable on Silo Wall Heat Trace to Anti-condensation for Flour Storage is an advanced technical solution to secure the flour from quality and quantity loss. An automatic control box to the system should be helpful to run necessary heating when the condensation is sensed to happen.
Condensation can be a major problem when storing flour: moisture damages the material, causes clot formation, and facilitates fungal and bacterial growth. If so, there faces a serious problem of quality and quantity loss. Therefore, preventing or tackling condensation in storage silos is an important point of concern.
Condensation occurs when the amount of moisture in the air is higher than this volume of air can absorb. This is usually caused by the cooling of warm, humid air, so excess moisture condenses on the wall and on the material.
Other than the conventional solutions on the material selection, electric heat tracing on the surface of the silos is an effective way to stop the condensation so that the flour in the storage can be secured.
