Honeycomb Panel Shaped Shielded Fan Vents
Honeycomb Panel Shaped Shielded Fan Vents with optional dust screens provide maximum airflow without degrading fan output. A proper gasket can be added to the frame with many standard sizes offered. Vents with honeycomb shape allows maximum air flow through openings to make shielding to 90db attenuation levels. As 95% honeycomb design yields open vent area, the unrestricted air flow successfully results in reduced turbulence plus lower noise levels than vents constructed from perforated metal.
Pasia EMI Air Filter performs three distinct functions:
EMI/RFI shielding with positive grounding.
Air straightening for maximum cooling efficiency.
High dust arrestance with low pressure drop.
Honeycomb vents are available with frames, pre-drilled with fasteners, or with flow-drilled thread holes. The standard material is stainless steel which can be given a electroplated.
If high shielding levels are required, the use of cross-cell honeycombs is recommended. The shielding performance will improve as airflow is decreased, but not eliminated.
