Description:

Corduroy first became popular in France and England in the 1700s, where it was named corde du roi, or "cord of the king." Though it was first woven of silk and was used to make clothing for royal servants, many think that the name corde du roi was actually made up by a British manufacturer who wished to glamorize his fabric with celebrity appeal. By the late 1800s corduroy was being woven of cotton and mass-produced in factories in both Europe and the United States. Durable yet inexpensive, cotton corduroy clothing became very popular with the working class. In 1918 auto manufacturer Henry Ford (1863–1947) chose hard-wearing, luxurious corduroy as upholstery in his new Ford Model T automobile.

1. Good heat retention
         The corduroy fabric has two parts the velvet tissue and ground tissue. The warmth of corduroy fabric is very good, because of the longitudinal velvet fabric of the surface.

2. Good stereoscopic effect
         Corduroy fabric has a good three-dimensional effect. It has a rich feel and is very comfortable to wear. It is a natural and environmentally friendly fabric.
         This kind of fabric has a round and plump feel, the appearance is clear, glossy and even, the fiber is wear-resisting, the texture is thick, the warm permeability is good, the moisture absorption is strong and very comfortable to wear.

PRODUCT EXTERNAL QC : For each order, except for our factory quality control, our QC will check the products according to the order qty , our QC will choose some proportion of goods to inspect , including Inspection of Width, Weight, Handfeeling, Color, Roll put up , Packing etc. To make sure the Quality of goods will be same as the samples confirmed .

PRODUCT INTERNAL QC : Our lab will do the test with the shipping samples of each order. Including Inspection of bondstrength , Washing and Dry cleaning, Shrinkage etc. , to make sure the quality can reach the industrial standard .
