The difference between the inner rotor and the outer rotor is that it rotates inside or outside. What is the difference between an outer rotor brushless motor and an inner rotor brushless motor?
1. For brushless motors of the same level (outer diameter), the torque of the outer rotor motor is larger than that of the inner rotor in the power-on test. The parameters obtained are: the value of 800KV for the outer rotor motor and the value of 1000-2000KV for the inner rotor motor.
2. The speed of the inner rotor motor is higher than that of the outer rotor motor. Since the characteristics are related to the KV value, according to the definition, the idling speed of the brushless motor is "KV value multiplied by the input voltage", which proves the speed of the inner rotor motor. higher than the outer rotor brushless motor.
3. In terms of torque characteristics, the KV value reflects the torque performance of the motor to a certain extent. The no-load top speed of the outer rotor motor test is normal, and the DC brushless motor, but after adding a load (such as a propeller), its top speed drops to no-load. 60%-70% of top speed.
4. In the test of the inner rotor motor of the same level, the rotating speed with load can only reach 30%-40% of its no-load speed. The capacity of the inner rotor motor with load is relatively low. In order to satisfy the torque work, the inner rotor motor must be Decrease the speed and increase the passing current, so that the output power of the motor increases when the voltage remains unchanged.
