Why 2940nm Er:YAG laser?
The Er:YAG laser produced 2940nm laser which has peak value of absorption to
water, then it can be well-absorbed by water. The absorption coefficient is 10 times of
CO2 laser.


So Er:YAG laser can dispel thinner tissue than CO2 laser, it can only penetrate the
skin moist a few microns
in depth, their skin in a time of relaxation 1-5ms, the extent of the damage stranded
heat also very light, not vaporization of the organization of the solidification of a thin
layer, bleeding only needle size.


The new fractional 2940nm laser that represents a new option to perform skin
resurfacing on aged and photo-damaged skin: it is a safe and effective treatment with
little patient downtime and discomfort, no analgesia and
no gel or consumables required.
