The display mode of electromagnetic flowmeter is divided into: split type electromagnetic flowmeter, integrated type electromagnetic flowmeter

According to the display mode, electromagnetic flowmeters are divided into: split type electromagnetic flowmeter and integrated type electromagnetic flowmeter. Series nominal diameter DN15 ~ DN3000.
The split-type electromagnetic flowmeter is an inductive instrument that measures the volume flow of conductive media in a pipe based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. It uses microcontroller embedded technology to realize digital excitation. At the same time, it uses CAN fieldbus on the electromagnetic flowmeter, which is the first in China. The technology has reached the domestic leading level.
The split-type electromagnetic flowmeter not only meets the needs of on-site display, but also can output 4-20mA current signals for recording, adjustment and control. It is now widely used in chemical industry, environmental protection, metallurgy, medicine, papermaking, water supply and drainage and other industrial technology and management department.
In addition to measuring the flow of general conductive liquids, the split-type electromagnetic flowmeter can also measure the volume flow of liquid-solid two-phase flow, high-viscosity liquid flow, and salt, strong acid, and strong alkali liquids.
The integrated electromagnetic flowmeter is formulated based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and is used to measure the volume flow of conductive fluids. Due to its unique characteristics, it has been widely used in the measurement of various conductive liquids in industry. It is mainly used in chemical industry, papermaking, food, textile, metallurgy, environmental protection, water supply and drainage and other industries. It can realize system control when matched with computers.

 

Electromagnetic flowmeter installation requirements
1. For horizontal and vertical flow directions, the electromagnetic flowmeter should be installed at the lower part of the horizontal pipe and the vertical upward part, and avoid installing it at the highest point and vertical downward part of the pipe;

2. When the flow direction is inclined, the electromagnetic flowmeter should be installed at the rising point of the pipe;

3. When opening the discharge pipe, the electromagnetic flowmeter should be installed at the lower part of the pipe;

4. When the pipeline drop exceeds 5 meters, an exhaust valve should be installed downstream of the electromagnetic flowmeter;

5. The control valve and cut-off valve on the pipeline should be installed downstream of the electromagnetic flowmeter and should not be installed upstream of the sensor;

6. The electromagnetic flowmeter cannot be installed at the inlet of the pump, but should be installed at the outlet;

7. How to install electromagnetic flowmeter in the measuring well;

 

Features
1. Measurement is not affected by the variation of flow density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity. High accuracy measurement is guaranteed according to the linear measurement principle.
2. No obstacle in the pipe, no pressure-loss and lower requirement for straight pipeline.
3. DN 6 to DN2000 covers a wide range of pipe size. A variety of liners and electrodes are available to satisfy different flow characteristic.
4. Programmable low frequency square wave field excitation, improving measurement stability and reducing power consumption.
5. Implementing 16 bits MCU, providing high integration and accuracy; Full-digital processing, high noise resistance and reliable measurement; Flow measurement range up to 1500:1.
6. High definition LCD display with backlight.
7. RS485 or RS232 interface supports digital communication.
8. Intelligent empty pipe detection and electrodes resistance measurement diagnosing empty pipe and electrodes contamination accurately.
9. SMD component and surface mount technology (SMT) are implemented to improve the reliability.

 

Main Applications

TQMF electromagnetic flowmeter can be used to measure the volume flow of conductive fluid in a closed pipeline. It is widely applied in the flow measurement and control in the fields of chemical and petroleum industry, metallurgy industry, water and waste water, agriculture and irrigation, paper making, food and beverage industry and pharmaceutical industry. 1.3Ambient Conditions Ambient temperature: sensor: -25℃ to + 60℃; converter: -25℃ to + 60℃. L.F. Cutoff and Cutoff Enble
Low flow cutoff is set in percentage relative to flow range. If Cutoff is enabled and flow is lower than the set value, the display of flow rate, speed and percentage and signal outputs are forced to nil. If the item is disabled, no action is taken.

 

Measuring Principles

The measuring principle of electromagnetic flowmeter is based on the electromagnetic induction law of Farady. The sensor is mainly composed of measuring tube with isolate lining, a pair of electrodes installed by penetration of the measuring tube wall, a pair of coils and iron core to produce working magnetic field. When the conductive fluid flows through the measuring tube of the sensor, the voltage signal in direct proportion to the average flow velocity of the fluid will be inducted on the electrodes. The signal is amplified and treated by the transmitter to realize various display functions.

Converter Circuit Schematic

The converters supplies a stable exciting current to the coil in the sensor of electronetic flowmeters to get B constant and amplifies the electromotive force and convert it into standard signals of current or frequency so that the signals can be used for displaying, controlling and processing. The schematic of converter circuit is shown in Fig. 2.1.
