Austenitic Stainless Steel 304 304L 304H SS Coil Steel Cold Rolled 2B Finish
304 is a universal stainless steel, which is widely used in the manufacture of equipment and parts requiring good comprehensive properties (corrosion resistance and formability). To maintain the corrosion resistance inherent in stainless steel, the steel must contain at least 18% chromium and at least 8% nickel. 304 stainless steel is a brand of stainless steel produced in accordance with ASTM standards in the United States.
304L is a variant of 304 stainless steel with lower carbon content and is used for welding applications. The lower carbon content minimizes carbides precipitation in the heat-affected zone near the weld, which may lead to intergranular corrosion (welding erosion) of stainless steel in some environments.
The development of 304L stainless steel, has made 304L stainless steel corrosion resistance, appearance, processability, strength and other characteristics far more than other materials, and many surface treatment of stainless steel, can obtain colorful colors and shapes, which makes a great contribution to the development of stainless steel.
304H features: it belongs to the stainless steel heat resistant steel, in the solution state has good resistance to intergranular corrosion, plasticity, toughness, cold processing, has good pipe bending, welding process performance; Corrosion resistance, high durable strength and structure stability, cold deformation ability is very good. In oxidized acid and atmosphere, water and other media corrosive good. It is suitable for manufacturing deep drawing parts, acid transport pipes and containers, etc. The maximum operating temperature is 650℃ and the maximum oxidation temperature is 850℃.
