You will be able to bend the stainless steel threaded rod once it changes to a reddish color. If the rod stiffens before you have bent it to your required angle, more heat can be applied as necessary.
Nuts threaded onto the rod with no issues. The rods can be used for a variety of projects and the stainless steel will support exterior installation. The rod also cut well with a threaded rod cutter.
