• Cross-arms shall be made out of 100 x 50 x 6.4 mm M.S. Channel or our customers’ specifications
• The cross arm shall be hot dipped galvanized as per relevant international standards.
• The cross-arm should not be welded/ jointed at any place except as specified.
• The clamps for the cross-arm shall be of G.I. & shall be hot dipped galvanized as per relevant international standards.
• The clamps shall be designed to fit for the specified octagonal steel poles.
• The proto of each type of cross arm assembles shall be fabricated and assembled before mass fabrication and the same shall be got approved from the Client/Consultant before taking up mass fabrication.

• Type Test

  • The following shall constitute Type Tests for Tension and Suspension Clamps:
    • Visual Examination;
    • Verification of Dimensions;
    • Slip Strength Test;
    • Ultimate Strength Test;
       
• Electrical Resistance Test; and
• The following shall constitute Type Tests for Fittings except Clamps:
  • Visual Examination;
  • Verification of Dimensions;
  • Galvanization Test (for nuts, bolts and washers).
  • Mechanical Test; and
  • Chemical Composition test (except for nuts, bolts and washers).

Packaging & Shipping

We pack the top and bottom parts of the pole with a mat or straw bale in order to protect it from damage to the galvanized surface that may occur during transportation.
 
Packaging can also be done according to clients’ requirements.
 
We can ship the poles by sea or air or express or trains and we have our regular shipping agent.

Trade terms:

1. Price Term: EXW,FOB,CFR,CIF,FCA or others.
The price includes pole shaft, base plate, cross arm and anchor part.
2. Payment: 30%T/T in advance,70%T/T or L/C at sight before shipment. Other payment way can be negotiated.
3. Package: Plastic woven bag or old blanket or according to clients requirement.
4. Delivery time: within 30-60 workdays after receiving deposit.
