Relationship between unoriented silicon steel sheet and oriented silicon steel sheet
Unoriented silicon steel sheets are hot rolled billets or continuous casting billets into coils with a thickness of about 2.3mm. For the manufacture of low silicon products, hot rolled strip rolls are cold-rolled to 0.5MM thick after pickling. When making high silicon products, hot rolling strip after pickling (or after normalizing at 800 ~ 850℃ and then pickling), cold rolling to 0.55 or 0.37MM thick, annealing at 850℃ in hydrogen and nitrogen mixture atmosphere continuous furnace, and then cold rolling to 0.50 or 0.35MM thick by 6 ~ 10% low pressure rate. The cold rolling with this small reduction rate can increase the grain size and reduce the iron loss during annealing. Both cold rolled plates were finally annealed at 850 ° C in a continuous furnace under a mixture of 20% hydrogen and nitrogen, and then coated with an insulating film of phosphate and chromate. After cold rolling to the finished product thickness, the supply state is mostly 0.35mm and 0.5mm thick steel strip. The BS of cold rolled non - oriented silicon steel is higher than that of oriented silicon steel.
