1. Description:
Aramid fiber refers to the high-tech synthetic fiber prepared by polycondensation spinning of aromatic compounds as raw materials, known as aromatic polyamide fiber. In 1974, the American Trade Federation named it as "Aramid Fiber", or AF for short. It is defined that at least 85% of the amide bonds (-conh -) are directly connected to the carbon atoms in the two benzene rings. Aramid fiber, carbon fiber and ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber are collectively known as the world's three high performance fibers.
