Distillation Column And Stainless Steel Material Structured Packing
Metal structured packing refers to a range of specially designed materials for use in absorption and distillation columns and chemical reactors. Structured packings typically consist of thin corrugated metal plates or gauzes arranged in a way that force fluids to take complicated paths through the column, thereby creating a large surface area for contact between different phases.
This series packing widely used in distillation, absorption, regeneration, heat trasfer, stripping, flash evaporation, mist collecting etc. Performed large flux and high separation efficiency.
Metal structured packing is made of perforated plate with channel corrugation on surface, and remains structure feature of metal wire gauze packing. It strengthens uniform liquid distribution and surface wetting ability, which increases mass transfer efficiency.
