Demister Pad Characteristics

Physical properties: Polypropylene is a non-toxic, odorless, tasteless milky white high-crystalline polymer with a density of only 0.90-0.91g/cm3, which is one of the lightest varieties of all plastics at present.

Mechanical properties: The structure of polypropylene is regular, and the most prominent performance is the resistance to bending fatigue. For example, the integral living hinge is injected with PP, which can withstand 7×107 times of folding and bending without damage.

Thermal properties: Pp has good heat resistance, the melting point is 164 ~ 170 ℃, the product can be sterilized at a temperature above 100 ℃, and it will not deform at 150 ℃ without external force. The embrittlement temperature is -35 °C, and embrittlement occurs below -35 °C, and the cold resistance is not as good as polyethylene.

Chemical stability: The chemical stability of polypropylene is very good. In addition to being corroded by concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, it is relatively stable to other chemical reagents.

So PP demister pad has a good anti-corrosion effect.
