An optical transceiver is a transceiver module for switches and some routers. The 10304 manufactured by Extreme Networks is a generation SFP+ transceiver. The optical converter (for example, the GLC LH SM transceiver) contains three elements: an FP laser, a PIN photodiode (with an integrated TIA amplifier) and an MCU control unit. All laser safety requirements are met.
