The Plaster of paris bandage is made of gauze bandage with super-slurry, and is made of gypsum powder. After soaking in water, it can be hardened and shaped in a short time. It has strong shaping ability and good stability. It is used for the fixation of orthopedics or orthopedics, the aids for molds and prostheses, and the protective stents for burns.
Characteristics:
When the bandage is immersed in water, the loss of gypsum is extremely small;

Directions of use:
Padding: before applying the P.O.P bandage, the patient’s skin should be appropriately covered by stocking net and or orthopedic padding.
Gloves: used glove when applying the P.O.P bandage.
Opening: the package is designed to ease opening the bandage.
Dipping: sock only ONE roll of bandage at a time. Immerse the bandage at 45 degree slant until bubbling crease. The soaking time is between 5-15 seconds.
Squeezing: take the bandage out of water and squeeze out the excess water with hands pressing the bandage softly from both edges towards the middle. If a second bandage is required, lightly squeeze the first bandage to leave enough water to soak on the second bandage so that the bandages are properly merged and formed appropriately.
Setting time: after the shaping & wrapping process, the bandage will take 2-3 minutes to harden so that the bandage can be properly formed.During this period, it is important that no movement/ disturbance is allowed as this will affect the forming of bandage.
Note:
When the P.O.P bandage is impregnated, the water temperature must be 25 ° C - 30 ° C, and the immersion time is about 5-15 seconds.
The winding process of the P.O.P bandage must be completed within its curing time.
Store in a room with a relative humidity of no more than 80%, no corrosive gases and good ventilation.
