Blood Specimen Tubes Precautions:
1. If the collected sample is used for virus nucleic acid detection, it needs to use a nucleic acid extraction kit and nucleic acid detection reagent; if it is used for virus isolation, it needs to use a cell culture medium.
2. Different application fields have different requirements for the volume of sampling liquid. Blood Specimen Tubes Product composition and materials:
1. The virus preservation solution is mainly composed of Hank's liquid base, amino acids, stabilizers, antibiotics, and cryoprotectants. The special preservation solution can effectively maintain the virus activity, reduce the speed of virus decomposition, and increase the positive rate of virus isolation.
2. Sampling swab: It consists of a sampling handle (plastic or wood) and a sampling head made of polymer materials.
3. Sample tube: It consists of a polypropylene injection tube and an outer screw cap with a sealing gasket. Each preservation tube contains 3.5ml virus preservation solution.
1. The sampling swab uses advanced jet implanted nylon fuzz technology. Comparedwith conventional fiber swabs, the sample is easily penetrated, diluted, and trapped in thefiber. The nylon flocking swab has outstanding sample collection and release capability,and the release rate can reach 90%, which is much higher than that of the conventionalfiber swab.
2. Light red Hank's solutions contains antibiotics that can effectively inhibit the reproduc-tion of bacteria and fungi.
3. Colorless and transparent preservative solutions can effectively inactivate virus andreduce the degradation of viral nucleic acid.
