2. General Introduction:
The slitting line is also called steel coil slitting equipment, slitting machine, strip slitting machine, and slitter. It is mainly used for slitting and cutting coils such as tinplate, galvanized steel, silicon steel sheet, CR cold-rolled steel strip, stainless steel strip, aluminum strip, and steel strip. It cuts metal coils into strips of various widths which is required, and then recoil the strips into small coils for the next process. It is a necessary equipment for precision cutting and slitting for transformers, motor industries and other metal strips industries.
Thin sheet slitting line is suitable for coil strip thickness (0.2~1) mm, (0.3-2) mm, (0.3-3) mm and (0.4-4)mm; while strip width is changeable: 600mm. 1000mm, 1250mm, 1600mm, 1800mm and so on.
