1. Samarium cobalt permanent magnet has high magnetic energy product and high coercivity. Its magnetic property is better than Alnickel-cobalt permanent magnet and ferrite permanent magnet, the magnetic energy product can be up to 239kJ /m3(30MGOE), is 3 times of Alnickel-cobalt permanent magnet, ferrite permanent magnet (Y40) 8 times. Therefore, the permanent magnet component made by SMCO permanent magnet system is small in size, light in weight and stable in performance, which can be used in electroacoustic telecommunication equipment.
2. Sm cobalt permanent magnet Curie has high temperature and small temperature coefficient, which can be used at 300℃.
3. Samarium cobalt has high permanent magnet hardness, high brittleness, low bending strength, tensile strength and compressive strength, and is not suitable for use as structural components.
4. The main component of samarium cobalt permanent magnet is cobalt metal (CO ≥99.95%), so it is expensive.
