Differences between Screw Compressor and Piston Compressor:

1. The structure is different.

The screw air compressor is easy to install and has less consumable parts. It can be moved and transported flexibly. The piston air compressor needs cement as the foundation. The installation cost is generally high;

2. The performance is different. The screw air compressor has good balance during operation, the motor running frequency is low, and will not generate too much energy loss. The piston air compressor, due to technical reasons , there will be unstable pressure and air flow, and the actual energy consumption during machine operation will exceed the technical parameters;

3. Equipment management, the screw air compressor uses a frequency converter, the power rises steadily when it is started and loaded, and there will be no current impact on the machine. It only needs to perform maintenance and replacement of equipment parts on time. 

4. Noise, the screw air compressor is a rotary operation, and it adopts frequency conversion to adjust the operation. The motor does not need to be unloaded frequently, and the noise generated is low.

5.Oil and gas separator
It adopts a huge oil and gas separator. After a three times' deep bed filtration, the oil volume is less than 3ppm and the pressure loss is only 0.02Mpa. With the reduction of oil mist exhaustion, the running cost of downstream equipment is increasingly lessen.

6.Intake Valve
None is easily damaged with an ON-OFF regulation and the adjusting range of tidal volume is 0 to 100%. It has small pressure loss and long operating life. At present, it is the most effective and reliable adjusting method of intake.

Maintanence Details:

How long does the air compressor need to be maintained?

1. 500 hours: When the air compressor runs for 500 hours, the oil filter element and air compressor lubricating oil should be changed for the first time after the new machine is used. Remove the air filter for cleaning and blow it out from the inside out with low pressure compressed air. Do not blow air from the outside to the inside to avoid clogging.

2. 2000 hours: When the air compressor runs for 2000 hours, check whether the pipe joints, bolts and terminal screws are loose, and tighten them if any. Replace the "three filters and one oil". Check all solenoid valves and whether the protection differential pressure switches operate normally.
