Beans Thread Vermicelli Noodles are make from Mung Bean. They are low in Carb. The noodles are commonly used in soups, stir-fries, salads, desserts, and even drinks. The dried noodles can also be deep fried for a crunch garnish or bed for sauces.

Longkou Vermicelli Beans Thread Noodles has been widely sold around the world. You can find it easily in supermarket and restaurant. Before cooking, soaking in warm water for several minutes until it is soft. It is suitable for hot dishes, cold dishes, salads and stuff. Just like instant noodles, it is convenient and can be enjoyed at any time.

Traditional Moroccan Vermicelli Dessert-Seffa

Seffa is one of the most popular traditional Moroccan dishes, commonly prepared during the wedding ceremonies or family reunions.It is based on vermicelli (though rice or couscous is often used as well), blanched or roasted almonds or peanuts, raisins, icing sugar and cinnamon. This dish is usually served at the end of the main meal, before the dessert or even in place of one.

Ingredients:

500 gm vermicelli

80 gm of raisins

100 gm of icing sugar

80 gm of butter

100 gm of roasted almonds or peanuts (or both)

1/4 tbsp of oil

1 tbsp of cinnamon

1 tsp of salt

Step 1: Fill up half a steaming pot (a steamer) with water and place it on the stove over medium heat.

Step 2: Place the vermicelli onto a big plate; pour some oil over it and rub it with your hands so that it doesn’t stick.

Step 3: Once the water starts to boil – add the vermicelli to the steamer and place it over the pot. Let it steam for about 15 minutes.

Step 4: Place the vermicelli back onto the plate, then pour in about 80ml of salted water and mix it in. Put it back onto the steamer for about 10 more minutes.

Step 5: Once again, place the vermicelli onto the plate, add about 40ml of water and mix it with your hands. Add the raisins and then place it back onto the steamer for another 10 minutes.

Step 6: Touch the vermicelli – if they seem tender, then you are all done. If not, you might need to steam it for another 5-10 minutes.

Step 7: Finally, place the vermicelli onto the plate once again, and mix them with butter.

Step 8: Once the vermicelli are ready – lay them up on a plate in the shape of a dome. Sprinkle with cinnamon, icing sugar, as well as crushed roasted almonds or peanuts.
