LCZ-35Q current transformer is semi-closed insulated cast product, suitable for power metering, current measurement and relay protection in power system with rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and rated voltage of 35kV and below.
This product conforms to IEC44-1 and GB1208 "current transformer".

3.The principle of use

3) The open circuit of the secondary side is absolutely not allowed, because once the open circuit is opened, the current I1 of the primary side will all become the magnetizing current, causing a sharp increase in φm and E2, resulting in oversaturated magnetization of the core, serious heating and even burning the coil; At the same time, over-saturating magnetization of the magnetic circuit increases the error.
