LP SOLAR ballast tripod mounting system adopts foldable triangle structure, which can effectively save installation and transportation costs. It is a modular structure, which can be expanded from one module to any scale, while maximizing the utilization rate of the roof. LP SOLAR’s professional engineers will propose the size and weight of ballast for the projects you participate in.
Ballast tripod mounting system is a highly engineering solution, which can fix the photovoltaic array on the roof without damaging the flat roof. It is compatible with conventional frame photovoltaic modules and generally does not require roof penetration. Ballast solutions are mostly made of light and strong aluminum structure, which can be pre-assembled and pre-cut before delivery. Aluminum materials can effectively prevent corrosion, save labor costs and installation time.
The ballast tripod mounting system is primarily a south facing aerodynamic rack solution for installing frame modules on flat roofs with 5 °, 10 °, 15 °, 20 ° or 30 ° installation inclination. If needs, we can also add SIKA building protection pad under the structure to avoid direct contact between roof and mounting system. Simple structure makes installation as easy as building blocks.
