The Fathom tether is a high quality tether cable designed for ROV and other subsea applications. It is neutrally buoyant, has a 350 lb breaking strength , and is embedded with water blocking fibers to seal any leaks. The tether has a diameter of 7.6 mm and is slimmer than most comparable ROV tethers.

The tether has four unshielded twisted pairs (UTP) of 26AWG wire. The pairs are colored and arranged in the same pattern as Category 5 network cables including crosstalk resistance. His high performance, low drag tether is less than 4mm in diameter and has a single pair of conductors . It is ideal for travel, deep diving and long distance diving. The polyurethane foam jacket makes it strong and durable.

It is neutrally buoyant, has a 300 lb breaking strength , and is embedded with water-blocking fibers to seal any leaks. The tether has a diameter of 4.0 mm and is much slimmer than most ROV tethers.
One hundred meters of tether weighs 3 pounds (1.4 kg) and can be easily managed by hand.
The tether carries an unshielded twisted pair (UTP) of 26AWG wire . The core of the cable contains Kevlar wire for strength and Dacron fiber for space fill. Both fibers are impregnated with a water stop to stop any leaks caused by nicks or cracks in the cable.
