Designed to exceed stringent fire safety codes, our Sonlite Fire Rated Slim Downlight Series offers an impressive 2-hour fire resistance with just 1/2" clearance. Its slim and sleek design makes it the perfect choice for tight spaces, soffits, and insulated or dropped ceilings.
With a power consumption of only 15 watts, our LED panel replaces a traditional 60-watt halogen, resulting in energy savings of up to 80% while maintaining the same level of brightness. The slim panel profile, coupled with convenient spring clips, enables quick and hassle-free installation. Compliant with fire rating building codes for ceiling materials, such as type-X gypsum, no additional accessories are required.
This versatile downlight is not only suitable for confined spaces but also suitable for wet locations. It boasts a selectable color temperature feature, conveniently located on the back of the light unit. With a simple flick of the switch, users can choose from 5 different color temperatures, allowing for easy customization to suit any desired ambiance. What sets us apart is that the color temperature switch is located on the light unit itself, rather than the junction box, allowing for seamless installation even in joist applications.
