Overview

Opsport is a highly efficient floodlight for sports and large area lighting. Available with a wide range of lumen outputs from47,340lm –299,880lm, multiple distribution types and accessories enable efficient and accurate designs achieving the highest levels of uniformity. Every aspect of this product is highly engineered and built to last in the harshest of environments.

With an excellent optical design range starting at 12 degree and including the asymmetric options. The Opsport 1440 watt Sports Flood Light has a very low UGR with no flicker, which allows for perfect slow-motion imagery within the HDTV live broadcasting industry. The Opsport Range also comes with a polyester powdered coated anti-corrosion layer for extra protection. The cooling technology for our Opsport range has been developed together with the engineers. This also has a higher input voltage range using the INVENTRONICS Driver which also allows us to offer the dimming options. Main Features

• Power: 480W. This is a more moderate power option compared to the 1200-1360W lights discussed previously. Still suitable for most sport courts and recreational areas but with less demanding power requirements.

• Lumens: 151LM/W, so these produce 72,480 lumens. A very high light output for general purpose lighting but more reasonable and efficient than the ultra-high lumen options. Should meet the needs of standard outdoor courts, fields and ball diamonds without excessive brightness.

• LEDs: Also uses highly efficient LED chips to produce 151 lumens per watt and maximize energy efficiency. Standard 5000-6500K color temperature for improved visibility while reducing visual impact. Higher CRI options may be available for better color quality.

• Housing: Durable anodized aluminum housing with powder coat finish and weatherized/sealed to IP65 rating. Built-in heat sinks help prevent overheating from high energy density LEDs, but housings of this size should avoid excessive heat issues due to lower power draw.

• Driver: Heavy-duty electronic driver rated to support the 480W load while within the specified enclosure. It safely converts AC power to regulated DC for the LED array. Also completely sealed/potted within the housing.

• Key considerations for fixtures this size:

• Higher upfront costs than standard roadway lighting but lower than 1200-1360W options. Still a significant investment for recreational purpose lighting.

• Substantial energy usage and costs compared to most general purpose fixtures, though more reasonable than extreme high-wattage options. Continuous nighttime operation will lead to high utility bills, though efficiency helps reduce environmental impact.

• Some basic 1-10V or DALI dimming capability possible to allow for limited scheduling or realizing additional savings. But dimming range still constrained compared to typical outdoor fixtures.

• Easier installation than largest options but post sizes, conduit use, etc. still more robust than common fixtures. Some challenging for standard process but more feasible than extremely heavy-duty options.

• Optional mounting kit and hardware costs may also apply depending on installation location/surface. Adds to the total solution price.
