About Vegetable Tanned Leather

Vegetable tanned leather refers to the tannage, or method of tanning the cowhide into leather. It’s called “vegetable” because of the natural materials used in the tanning process like tree bark. Vegetable tanning or veg tan as it’s sometimes called, is one of the oldest methods of tanning known to man. It has literally been around for centuries. But less than 10% of the world's leather is tanned this way today.

What makes vegetable tanning so unique is it allows us to use thicker leather and results in more body and character - perfect for bag making. Vegetable tanned leather also tends to age better and develops a rich patina over time. And it has that awesome classic leather smell.

Q1: Are you a manufacturer or trading company?
A1: A manufacturer.

Q2: What about the shipping methods?

A2: For small orders, you may choose following expresses: UPS, FedEx, TNT, DHL, EMS. For large volume, you may ship the goods by air or by sea to save cost.

Q3: What about the payment methods?
A3: We accept T/T for large value, and for small orders, you may pay us by Paypal, Western Union, Money Gram, etc.

Q4: How much does it cost to ship to my country?
A4: It depends on seasons and different forwarders. Fee is different offered by different forwarders, and in different seasons. You can consult your nominated forwarder or us at any time.

Q5: What's your delivery time?
A5: Bulk lead time will be around 20-35 days after samples are approved, and deposit has been paid.

Q6: Can I print our logo/barcode/unique QR code/series number on your products?

Q7: Can I order some sample for our testing?
A7: Samples will be invoiced at FOB prices x 2, but it will be refunded when you have placed orders and met MOQ 500 pcs per style per colour.

Q9: How can you make sure we will receive the products with high quality?
A9: We have internal QC check, and if you want, we may get bulk products tested or AQL inspected by a third party.

Design:

• We have been manufacturing various type of handbag, shoulder bag, clutch bag, wallet and belt over 4 years.
• High quality workmanship and material.
• We are able to add your logo with printing, pressing, embroiderying.

Production time and Packaging:

• Sampling time: 5 - 15 days.
• Production time: depends on order quantity, 20days for 500pcs after sample confirmed.
• Packaging: one opp bag for each product ( hardware accessories to be packed ) and stuff paper to keep it' s shape, put it into non-woven bag and then polybag. 15pcs per export carton separate by hard cardboard.
