What is fixed frequency software?
A software that can control the power and rate to fix the frequency, that is, in the test, it is necessary to control the transmission parameters of the product, such as transmission frequency, modulation, continuous transmission, etc. We call this kind of software that can control the transmission parameters of the product fixed frequency software, or fixed frequency program. The fixed frequency prototype refers to a prototype that can be transmitted at a certain frequency and connected to the test instrument through the control of fixed frequency software.

Mainly for 2.4GHz, 900MHz, 5G modulation types. Generally common in BT, WIFI, etc.;
Note: Some products do not need fixed frequency software, such as 315MHz, 433MHz, 868MHz, single channel products, you can directly press the button on the product to continuously transmit, this kind of product is not provided, and FM transmitters do not need to provide fixed frequency software. GSM, WCDMA mobile phones only need to provide engineering mode instructions.
Requirements for fixed-frequency prototypes
Because the software is installed on the computer, the computer and the product must be connected to use the software to set the frequency. To achieve the connection between the product and the computer, a control board (called a fixture in the laboratory) is usually required, one side of which is connected to the computer and the other side is connected to the product, so the customer needs to provide both the prototype and the control board.
Concept
The process of controlling the continuous transmission of the product module (chip) through software and tools is called fixed frequency.
In layman's terms, it means that the product is in a continuous transmission state and can transmit a fixed frequency point. Generally, the product is controlled by software to transmit. Some provide engineering codes and enter the engineering mode for transmission; some products have built-in buttons and can be transmitted by buttons!
In general, there are several ways to make fixed-frequency engineering prototypes:
1. For smart devices such as tablets, mobile phones, etc., use engineering development software directly inside the device for control
2. For non-intelligent devices such as Bluetooth speakers, use serial port boards, serial port to UART boards, USB cables, etc. to communicate with Bluetooth modules or Bluetooth control chips, and use the Bluetooth development engineering software on the smart device computer for control.
3. For the remote controllers of controllable devices developed by customers, the appropriate test software can be pre-burned, and the buttons on the device can be used to switch to control the working channel of the device.
