1. Scanning range.
The larger the area the camera can scan, the more popular it will be. But if you blindly increase the scanning area, it will bring a lot of problems. For example, the light spot becomes thicker, the distortion increases and so on.
2.Focal length (related to working distance, but not equal to working distance).
a. The scanning range is directly proportional to the focal length of the field mirror the increase of the scanning range will inevitably lead to the increase of the working distance. The longer working distance will inevitably lead to the loss of laser energy.
b. The diameter of the focused spot is proportional to the focal length. This means that when the scanning area reaches a certain degree, the diameter of the light spot obtained is very large, that is to say, it is not fine enough, and the power density of the laser decreases very quickly (the power density is inversely proportional to the second power of the spot diameter), which is not conducive to processing.
c. Because the f-theta field mirror works by using the relation of Y '= f * θ, the actual values of θ and TG θ are different. And with the increase of focal length f, the distortion will be more and more serious.
3.Working wavelength.
At present, 1064nm and 10600nm are mostly used in the market. However, with the development of lasers, 532 nm, 355 nm and 266 nm field mirrors will also have corresponding applications.
Function:
The main functions of the focusing mirror are as follows:
1. The ability of edge beam to incident to detector is improved;
2. In the same main optical system, the additional field mirror will reduce the detector area, if the same detector area is used, the field of view can be expanded and the incident flux can be increased;
3. The non-uniform illumination on the photosensitive surface of the detector can be homogenized.
