Principles of Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT):
Low-Level Laser Light:
LLLT utilizes low-intensity lasers or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that emit specific wavelengths of light.
The LuxMaster Physio device employs two primary wavelengths, 405nm (violet-blue) and 635-650nm (red),
which are known to penetrate deep into body tissues effectively without causing harm.
Photobiomodulation:
When low-level laser light interacts with cells and tissues, it triggers a process called photobiomodulation.
Photons from the laser are absorbed by chromophores within the cells, such as cytochrome c oxidase
located in the mitochondria.
Cellular Energy Enhancement:
The absorbed photons stimulate cytochrome c oxidase, a crucial enzyme in the electron transport chain,
leading to an increase in cellular energy production (ATP synthesis). Elevated ATP levels provide cells with
