1. Description
The full name of the four-jaw self-centering chuck is a manual four-jaw self-centering chuck for machine tools. It consists of a disc body, four small helical teeth and a pair of jaws. Since the pitch of the flat rectangular thread on the coiled wire is equal, the moving distance of the four claws is equal, and it has the function of automatic centering.
Four-jaw self-centering chucks have two types of jaws: integral jaws and split jaws. The overall claw is a claw in which the base claw and the top claw are integrated, and a pair of overall claw is divided into four positive claws and four reverse claws. There are only four claws in a pair of split claws, and each claw consists of a base claw and a top claw. In addition, soft jaws can also be provided according to user requirements, and high centering accuracy can be obtained after random configuration (grinding) to meet the clamping requirements.
Function: Synchronous motion of four jaws, suitable for clamping square and square parts, as well as shaft and disc parts.
Applicable machine tools and accessories: ordinary lathes, economical CNC lathes, grinding machines, milling machines, drilling machines and machine tool accessories - indexing head turntables, etc.
