Aluminum Barrier Laminates (ABL)

ABL structures have an aluminum foil barrier, which provides a superior light, air and moisture barrier along with reduced flavor absorption. The material density offers a more durable tube and allows for additional dispensing of the products contents. Pastes, ointments, creams and gels, toothpaste and OTC pharmaceutical products fair well in ABL structures.

Decoration:

We have three different print methods you can choose from depending on the design of your artwork and the way you would like it displayed on your tubes.

Offset Print: Up to 6 colors. Use of CMYK/4-Color Process. Gradient Screens are acceptable. Feels like the ink is impregnated on the tubes and takes on the finish you have chosen for your tubes.
Silk Screen: Up to 5 colors. When you run your fingers over the art on the tube it is raised up and will always remain glossy, even on a matte finish tube.
Hot Stamping of Foils: Up to 2 colors. Slight feel to the touch. Finish remains glossy with a metallic sheen.

Gtavure printing :we have maximum 9 color press.
 

HOW LAMINATE TUBES ARE MADE

Sanying’s laminate tubes are made from five different layers which includes a barrier layer and are manufactured by using our laminate substrate which is made in-house. We can also use another laminate supplier depending on the preference of the customer, however we always recommend using our produced laminate because we can control lead times and quality.

The laminate is first printed on a flat surface and this process allows for excellent print decoration with high clarity and definition. The tubes are then formed by placing the rolls of the printed laminate material onto the mandrills of the machine. The material is then taken in a flat state and fed through the forming rolls, which gently turn the tube and form it into a cylinder of variable size depending on the customer's needs. Heat generated by high frequency seams the sides of the material together to form a solid cylindrical tube. After the tube has been formed, it goes to the cutting station that separates it into various lengths.

After the tube has been formed into the desired cylindrical shape, size and length, the tube is transferred to the heading operation. Essel uses state-of-the art compression molding technology to apply the shoulder to the tube sleeve, which offers a more superior bond. After the complete tube has been formed with sleeve and shoulder, it goes to the capping station. The cap -- flat style, fez style or pedestal style which are chosen based on the customer's selection. Our caps are automatically applied to meet the customer's needs. The tube is then transferred onto a conveyor which is taken to a packing operation where it is ready to ship to the customer.
