Radio Type RF Laboratory Test SRRC Compulsory Certification

SRRC certification (SRMC certification) is a compulsory certification requirement of the State Radio Administration Commission. Since June 1, 1999, the Ministry of Information Industry of China has mandated that all radio component products sold and used in China must obtain the radio type certification.

At present, China has established special frequency ranges for different types of radio transmitting equipment, and not all frequencies can be legally used in China. In other words, all radio transmitting equipment sold or used within its territory will be assigned different frequencies. In addition, applicants should pay attention to the required areas for certain radio transmitting equipment. They should apply not only for "radio type approval Certification", but also for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and/or network access Permit approval.

According to Article 44 of the Regulations on Radio Administration of the People's Republic of China, "With the exception of micro-power short-range radio transmission equipment, the production or import of other radio transmission equipment for sale and use in the country shall apply to the State radio regulatory authority for type approval."

SRRC certification application materials and test sample requirements

(1) Application Form for Type Approval of Radio Transmitting Equipment;

(2) Letter of Commitment for Approval of the Type of Radio Transmitting Equipment;

(3) A copy of the business license of the applicant or the legal person certificate of the institution (affixed with the signature of the applicant), and the overseas applicant shall provide legal organizational certification materials (affixed with the signature of the applicant);

(4) The specific handler shall submit the power of attorney signed by the applicant and the valid identity certificate of the handler, and the handler and the entrusted handler shall be consistent in the application form;

(5) Production capacity, technical strength, quality management system and other materials related to the production of radio transmission equipment. Domestic applicants who have obtained the quality management system certificate can fill in the certificate number in the application form; In case of other situations and if the certificate of quality management system has not been obtained, a detailed introduction of the technical capacity, production capacity and quality assurance system with the official seal of the applicant shall be submitted. The production capacity certificate shall at least include the main production equipment model, the number of sets or production lines, the production plan, the corresponding testing equipment (facilities), etc. Where the applicant entrusts the OEM to produce, it shall provide the entrustment contract between the applicant and the OEM as well as the entrusted party's technical capacity, production capacity and quality assurance system and other materials. The application materials required in this Article may be simplified if the applicant voluntarily submits the compulsory certification, recommended certification or voluntary certification prescribed by the State and, after examination and verification, proves that he/she has the corresponding technical capability, production capacity and quality system.

(6) Equipment instruction manual, technical manual, circuit diagram, circuit block diagram or schematic diagram related to wireless transceiver function, and list of key RF components. The specification shall specify the display mode of the type approval code;

(7) In case the type approval code is displayed in electronic form, the description of the type approval code and the style of the electronic plate shall be provided, and the relevant provisions of the Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the Electronic Display of the Type Approval Code of Radio Transmission Equipment (No. [2015]211 of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) shall be complied with;

(8) A set of color photos of the equipment, including the exterior, internal circuit board and photos of the label. The information of the label shall include the manufacturer, product model, the style of the approved code logo, etc., and the photos shall be marked with scale;

(9) It shall meet the requirements for the type of approved equipment and the sample of the radio transmitting equipment.
