TEST PRINCIPLE
This kit is an immunochromatography assay and uses double antibody sandwich method to detect the specific protein SP10 in human semen. During detection, when the concentration of SP10 protein in the semen sample is higher than or equal to the minimum detection limit, the sperm SP10 protein in the semen combines with the SP10 monoclonal antibody labeled with colloidal gold to form a reaction complex, which is reacted by chromatography moving forward along the nitrocellulose membrane, it is captured by the SP10 monoclonal antibody pre-coated on the detection zone (T) of the nitrocellulose membrane, and finally a red reaction line visible to the naked eye is formed. At this time, the result is positive; on the contrary, When the semen sample does not contain sperm SP10 protein or the sperm SP10 protein concentration is below the minimum detection limit, no red reaction line appears in the detection area (T), and the result is negative at this time. No matter whether the sample contains sperm SP10 protein; in quality The control area (C) will form a red reaction line.

Performance Characteristics
Limitation
1. This reagent achieves the purpose of screening sperm concentration by detecting sperm SP10 protein. The test results are only used as reference indicators for male infertility and need to be combined with other clinical and laboratory data. If the test results do not match the clinical evaluation, further inspections are required.
2. This reagent is a qualitative detection reagent and cannot be used for quantitative detection. If quantification is required, the sperm count diagnosis made by a professional medical institution shall prevail.
