Description
The microneedle roller is rolled over cleansed skin in a back and forth motion. The tiny needles create micro injuries to the epidermis which sets off the body's wound-healing response. Within 3 to 4 days, collagen synthesis increases by up to 300% as fibroblasts rush to the wounded area to repair tissue. The increased collagen fill in lines and wrinkles, plumping up the skin. As the collagen plumps the dermis, elastin is also stimulated which helps improve sagging and elasticity. The derma roller should only be used once every 4 to 6 weeks to allow adequate time for collagen production. • Continue rolling in a cross-hatch pattern until the entire treatment area is covered. Roll all direction - vertical, horizontal and diagonal.
• Focus on problem areas like wrinkles, acne scars and stretch marks. Roll these areas extra slowly and thoroughly.
