Located in the vent, the doublefinger latch system stays protected from the drilling spoils, thus allowing the scissor to function without any interference. The double open bottom design allows the operator to open the bottom plate either manually or automatically. Choose from dirt, rock or clean-out drill bottoms.
What Advantages Do Double Cutting Double Bottom Rock Bucket Provide?
Designed with a rotating bottom to load drilled material; a vent pipe making the water or bentonite pass through reduces the pressure on the tool so that it can be lifted up easily.
Provided with mechanical opening system to unlock bottom parts and release fastly drilled material they can be supplied with different type of tungsten carbide bullet teeth and chisel accordingly with soil and rock hardness.
Buckets diameters can be changed on Client needs and they are available on request.
How Are Double Cutting Double Bottom Rock Bucket Installed?
Upon encountering a relatively large rock or other object, a common practice has been to remove the drilling bucket from the bore being drilled and to lower a rock bucket particularly designed to be repeatedly dropped upon the rock or object.
After the rock has been broken into pieces by repeated impacts of the chopping bucket or rock bucket, the chopping bucket is removed from the bore being drilled and is replaced with the drilling bucket which is capable of receiving the smaller pieces through its bottom openings.
