Assembly and packing instructions _Trunnion

1. For trunnion structure, body & bonnet, gland & trunnion shall be jointed by bolting, tighten up with 4nuts and then put into the plastic bag, attach the general label on the plastic bag and pack.
2. For bearing plate structure, body & bonnet, gland shall be jointed by bolting, tighten up with 4nuts and then put into the plastic bag, attach the general label, bearing plate shall be packed alone, label and pack.
3. No painting applicable however antirust to be applied as applicable.
4. Serial number shall be marked on body.
5. The depth of thread put into bolt hole of body should no less than bolts size, bolts should have 2-3 threads exposed after being assembled So Kelite need to adjust the bolt’s height during the assembly.
6. Trim’s size, pressure, material and heat number shall be neatly marked relevant places for the trim which have special coating, electro-engraving pen shall be used to make sure neatly markings in relevant places.
7. The size & pressure, material, heat number marking on body & caps shall be performed per Kelite marking procedure,
8. Nameplates not to be provided by Kelite but rivets shall be provided by Kelite.
9. Kelite no need to provide the O-rings.
10. Each stem (including antistatic device) shall be covered by protective jacket and fix well on both ends, label and pack
11. Each assembled seat rings shall be put together with spring plate then covered by pearl wool then label and pack.
12. The mounting pad shall be put into the plastic bag per each crate, size & pressure, label and pack.
13. The handle, joint shall be assembled per each crate, size&pressure, label and pack.
14. Supporting Leg + Lifting Lugs to be grit blasted and painted with the standard blue paint. The items shall be protected from damage by wrapping with a protective material.
15. Spiral wound gaskets shall be shipped with original packing from Kelite supplier but with pearl cotton protection, label and pack.
16. Bearing, thrust washer, adjust gasket for same size&pressure shall be put into the plastic bags respectively in one crate according to PO quantity, label on the plastic bag then put into the box, attach the general label on box and pack,
17. Balls shall be provided with original packing with label then be shipped with Kelite standard crates.
18. Same dimension O-rings shall be packed within same plastic bags per each crate, size&pressure, label then put into the box, attach the general label on box and pack(if applicable), details please see photos,
19. Springs shall be packed in the plastic bag per same crate, size&pressure, attach the general label on the plastic bag then put into the box and pack, the quantity in shipment shall be 10% more than the PO ordered,
20. Injection valves, drain valves shall be packed in the box per same crate, size&pressure, attach the general label on the box and pack, the quantity in shipment shall be 10% more than the PO ordered,
21. Socket head cap screw, pin, key shall be packed in different plastic bags respectively then put into the box, attach the general label and pack.
22. Label on the each valve gears (including the connection parts), mark on the hand wheel with marking pen then pack (if applicable).
23. As the principle above main components, spare parts will be packed in same crate for same size&pressure, BOM shall be provided for each crate same size&pressure valves, BOM shall be placed with the crate for clients easy assembly purpose,
24. The packing sequence within one same crate is the 1st layer is body and cap, the 2nd is metal trim, and the 3rd layer is soft repair kits.

Additional Requirement’s:

Following documents have to be sent to clients with in five days after the shipment.

• Dimension Inspection Report
• Material Testing Report (MTR’s)
